The Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed(381 A.D.)

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-begotten , Begotten of the Father before all ages, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten, not made;of one essence with the Father,by whom all things were made:

Who for us men, and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man;

And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered, and was buried;

And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures;

And ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father;

And He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, Whose kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified, Who spoke by the Prophets;

And we believe in one,holy,catholic,and apostolic Church.

We acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins.

We look for the resurrection of the dead,

and the Life of the age to come. Amen.

我信唯一上帝，全能的圣父，天地及一切有形无形万物的创造者。

我信唯一的主耶稣基督，上帝的独生子，在万世以前由圣父所生，出自光明的光明，出自真神的真神，受生而非被造，与圣父同性同体，万物都是藉祂而造成；

祂为了我们人类，并为了我们得救，从天降临，因着圣灵，并从童女玛利亚取得肉身，而成为人。

祂为了我们，在本丢彼拉多手下被钉十字架，受难而被埋葬；

依圣经所言，祂在第三日复活；

并升天，坐在圣父的右边；

祂将在荣耀中再降临，审判活人死人，祂的国度万世无终。

我信圣灵即是主及生命的赋予者，自圣父而发，祂和圣父及圣子同受敬拜，同享尊荣，祂曾藉众先知发言.

我信唯一，神圣，大公，传自使徒的教会。

我确认赦罪的洗礼只有一个。

我期待死人复活，
